The design project, initiated in November 2023, encompassed a diverse visual assets that aligns with the academy's mission, values, passion, and energy, creating a cohesive and impactful brand presence.
Logo Design | The RRA logo was crafted using the first three letters of RICE Retail Academy—RRA—nested inside a larger "R." The largest "R" serves as the anchor, symbolizing Russell Innovation Center for Entrepreneurs RICE as the parent brand and its role as a steadfast supporter of retail businesses. The design highlights growth and development within a unified structure, innovation, and guidance, reflecting the academy's commitment to empowering retailers.
The bold and geometric construction of the "R" creates a sense of stability and progress, while the overlapping elements of "RA" subtly convey collaboration and readiness. The multiple color variations derived from RICE's brand identity, ensures visual consistency with the parent brand, and also provide flexibility for various branding applications, ensuring the logo remains impactful across diverse media.

PARAGRAPHITI, a non-profit organization rooted in the United States, is steadfast in its commitment to the realms of literature, art, and culture. Specializing in the publication of fiction, poetry, nonfiction, and visual artwork, their proclivity leans towards pieces infused with an international essence. A notable endeavor within their literary portfolio is “Buta,” an early anthology showcasing the finest oriental compositions.
Inspired by the ordered disposition of buta motifs in Eastern ornamentation, particularly prevalent in Iran with diverse variations in size, color, and orientation, I sought to encapsulate this aesthetic in the anthology’s logo. Meticulously selecting a typographic letter mirroring the visual semblance of buta, I embellished it with intricate Iranian decorative motifs, forging a visual emblem that resonates with the anthology’s cultural essence.
